FINDING THE PRODUCT ID# FOR YOUR MICROSOFT WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM:

Copy the info below BETWEEN the double lines, paste it into a notepad file and save it as Product Key.js. Then just dbl-click on it and it will display the prod key for the currently installed O/S. If this is saved to a floppy disk it can be used on any computer simply by inserting it in the "A" drive and transfer it to the desktop the double click on it. Saves digging through the registry for : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version] "Product Key"
